Dr. Ellissa Crête’s hands, needles, and words create a compassionate healing space that touches body, heart and spirit. She offers services in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Tuning Forks, and Massage in her private practice in Nelson, BC.

Ellissa is a BC registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Registered Acupuncturist. In 2014, Ellissa graduated from the five year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Program at the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences (ACOS) in Nelson, BC. She participated in additional TCM clinical internships in Kunming, China. Ellissa has an interest gynecology, mental health, and sound healing. She is an Ohm TherapeuticsTM practitioner in sound healing with tuning forks. In addition to her private TCM and Massage clinic, she works at the Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences (formerly ACOS) as instructor in the TCM program.

Ellissa holds a Bachelor of Arts with options in International Studies and Peace & Conflict Studies. An experienced Bodyworker, she has offered massage services since 2004 with a specific interest in Zen Shiatsu and Thai-Yoga Massage. Ellissa also teaches weekly yoga classes inspired by the Iyengar method which focus on postural alignment and the efficient use of props, such as yoga ropes.
