I began taking hot yoga classes when I was 23 and enjoyed the physical and mental challenge of staying in the hot room. Classes were 90 minutes and each pose was repeated twice. I continued to casually partake in various hot/warm yoga classes mostly for the physical practice until I realized I had so much more to learn.

I completed my 200 hr teacher training in 2014 with a small group in Revelstoke under the guidance of Ally Bogard. I then completed my 75 hr hot yoga and 50 hr hot vinyasa teacher training at Bambu yoga in Nelson with Kristin Campbell. I am currently enrolled in a 50 hr yin training with Bernie Clark from Vancouver. I have enjoyed all of my training and have learned so much from my wonderful and talented instructors. Thank you.

I am grateful for yoga as this practice has helped me heal from injuries and loss and to become closer to myself. I am learning how to observe rather than react in each moment. My heart and eyes are more open to receive and to give. Finally, I am grateful for the magnificent energy I experience when I walk into a studio and share this practice with others.
