Michelle is a body worker/manual therapist currently attending the Canadian School of Osteopathy Manual Practice. She has always been interested in the complexity of the human body and its ability to heal and began her career in 2015 as a registered nurse. Her background included working in labour and delivery/perinatal units, pediatrics, and public health, but has experience caring for all age ranges and various medical conditions.

She decided to switch careers in 2019 to a more preventative, healing approach and has been attending classes at the CSO since then. Michelle’s commitment to continuing education has informed an understanding of the intricacies of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the human body. Her therapeutic approach is informed through her years of post-secondary study, sport and athletic conditioning, and self-study of a variety of healing modalities.

Sessions with Michelle include a thorough health history, assessment of the body as a whole, and treatment of the muscles, skeletal system, and fascia using a holistic approach to specific concerns. With her dynamic and non-invasive approach, she hopes to improve her client’s pain management, movement, and general health.
